Place potatoes in a large pot of salted water. Boil for 15-20 minutes until tender.

Drain potatoes and mash with butter and milk until smooth. Set aside.

In a large skillet, cook ground lamb and onion over medium heat until browned. Drain fat.

Add carrots and peas. Cook for 5 minutes.

Transfer meat mixture to a baking dish (if skillet is not oven-safe). Spread mashed potatoes evenly over the top.

Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 20 minutes until the top is golden brown.
