Gather and prepare all ingredients as specified in the ingredient list.

Wash mustard greens and spinach thoroughly.

Boil them in water with green chilies until soft.

Drain and blend into a coarse paste.

Heat butter/ghee in a pan.

Sauté ginger and garlic until golden.

Add the green paste.

Stir in the cornmeal (mixed with a little water) to thicken and add flavor.

Simmer for 15-20 minutes.

Add salt and garam masala.

Gently stir in the paneer cubes and cook for 2-3 more minutes.
