Toss the flank steak slices with cornstarch until evenly coated.

Allow to sit for 10 minutes.

Heat oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the beef and fry for 2-3 minutes until browned and crispy.

Remove beef and set aside.

In the same pan, sauté the garlic and ginger for 30 seconds.
