Clean the grill grates and lightly oil them.

Place the corn directly on the grill grates.

Grill the corn for about 10-15 minutes, turning every 2-3 minutes, until the kernels are tender and charred in spots.

Remove the corn from the grill and brush each ear generously with mayonnaise while still warm.
